In January 2012 I began my own style blog; Shoes, Sushi and Spare Change. The creation of this blog coincided with my own decision to cease buying cosmetics from companies who tested on animals. I now buy my makeup, skincare and other cosmetic items from cruelty-free companies and showcase many cruelty-free products on my blog.
Knowing that there are an increasing number of other cruelty-free beauty bloggers out there, I was looking for a network where we could share our animal-friendly finds and support each other on our blogging endeavors all while raising awareness about animal testing in the cosmetics industry. Unfortunately, a network like this did not already exist, so I decided to create one myself! And that is how Cruelty-Free Beauty Bloggers was born.
Please note that I am running this network so that I can get the warm 'n' fuzzy feeling of helping out other bloggers like me while raising awareness for a great cause. I currently do not make any monetary or material gains from this blog :)
